By creating a Sealbid account or using the service, you agree to these terms. They cover what you can do with the product, what we promise, and the rules around our SMS messaging program.

1. About Sealbid

Sealbid is a phone-first quoting tool for HVAC and plumbing contractors, operated from Plano, Texas. Contact us at hello@sealbidapp.com for support or any question about these terms.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 and operating a legitimate trade business to use Sealbid. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password secure and ensuring the customer data you enter is accurate and lawfully obtained.

3. Acceptable use

• Don't use Sealbid to send fraudulent quotes, harass customers, or impersonate another business.
• Don't upload voice samples or photos you don't have the right to use.
• Don't text customers who have asked you not to.
• Don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. SMS messaging program

Sealbid offers an optional SMS quote-delivery feature. The following terms apply to that program specifically.

• Program name: Sealbid Quote Delivery.
• Description: When you choose to text a quote you have created, Sealbid sends a single transactional SMS to the customer's phone number containing a secure link to view the quote. The message is sent only when you, the contractor, explicitly opt in by checking the "Also text customer" box on the send screen.
• Frequency: One SMS per quote you send (and at most one resend per resend action). No marketing or promotional messages. No automated sequences.
• Carriers: Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your customer's mobile carrier and plan. Sealbid does not charge per message; carrier fees are between your customer and their carrier.
• Opt-out: Customers can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to the message. Opt-out is honored immediately and globally — once a number opts out, no contractor on Sealbid will text that number until the customer opts back in by replying START.
• Help: Customers who reply HELP receive an automatic response with our support contact information and instructions to opt out.
• Support: For SMS questions, email hello@sealbidapp.com. For questions about a specific quote, customers should contact the contractor who sent it.
• Consent: By using Sealbid's SMS feature, you (the contractor) confirm that the customer has given you permission to text them this quote. You are responsible for that consent under TCPA and similar laws.

5. Subscription and billing

Sealbid is $39 per month after the free quote allowance. Billing is handled by Stripe; subscriptions auto-renew monthly until canceled. You can cancel any time from Settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and your data remains exportable for at least 60 days afterward. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial months.

6. Your content

You own everything you put into Sealbid: rate cards, voice samples, quote prose, logos, customer records. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the service. We do not sell your content, do not use it to train shared third-party AI models, and do not share your customers' phone numbers or message content for marketing.

7. Disclaimers

Sealbid is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI-drafted quotes are starting points — you are responsible for reviewing every quote before sending it to a customer. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sealbid's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law, with notice when practical.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here and announced by email. Continued use of Sealbid after a change means you accept the updated terms.
